Pencils and Lines And a Cliff

...Jumper that is.

Bleh.

I was supposed to draw him full body for my own personal reference for something i'm trying to do, but ended up drawing him too big on the paper as usual. SO, I drew his head (how original...)...then violated him via lines.

First panel is the base sketch. Was originally drawn up in Light blue Pilot color Eno then haphazardly tightened up with a random 0.7 pencil. Scanned over in Photoshop, I changed the pencil sketch with Color Balance so it was blue, which you don't see here.

Digital lines were done in Paint Tool SAI with my Intous4. Needless to say, I can't really stand my digital lines at all anymore. This is me personally...it just...feels really weird.

Traditional lines were done over a printout of the sketch done up in blue - just printer paper. Pens were Faber-Castall PITT pens of varying sizes, mostly XS and S. First version if one with the levels not adjusted then the other with levels adjusted. The only thing I didn't mess with was his eyes since it would have blacked them out and I wanted to leave them gray (Copic Marker for that mess).

Anyway, woo Cliffjumper. If I had the markers, i'd color his dumb face with them than mock up some digital BS for comparison. But really should mess around with this other thing...
